Navidad / Christmas

Este año lo pase con la familia de mi novia, cenamos una muy rica pierna, jugamos baraja, abrimos regalos 😀 Me la pase increible.

I had christmas in my girlfriend’s house this year, we ate a delicious leg (I am not sure if leg is the right translation), we played cards, gave gifts 😀 I had an incredible time.

Recomendaciones:

Si vienen por estos rumbos, no dejen de visitar Jasper y esquiar, puedo clasificarlo como lo mejor que hice hasta ahora. De verdad, esquiar es divertidisimo!!! y Jasper es asombrosamente bello.

Si van a Jasper visiten el bar donde hacen su propia Cerveza y porfavor prueben las alitas de pollo, las mejores que he probado en mi vida!!! (lo siento hooters)

Si pueden ir a los hot tubs, no duden ni aunque esten a -20°C como nosotros, es muy relajante 😀

Recomendations:

If you come to this zone, visit Jasper and practice ski, I can say that it is the best thing I have ever done until now. Seriously, skiing is very fun!!! and Jasper is surprisingly beautiful.

If you go to Jasper visit the bar where they make their own beer  and please try  the chicken wings, the best I have ever tried in my entire life (Sorry hooters)

If you can go to the hot tubs, don’t hesitate even if you are -20°C just like we were, its pretty relaxing 😀

Cumple de Moni / Moni’s Birthday

Bueno pues resulta que nos fuimos a Jasper (ver entrada siguiente) y regresando invite a Moni a cenar a un restaurante Japones, donde cenamos sushi y un plato de algo raro japones que aunque no supimos que fue, nos lo comimos :D. Desgraciadamente no tomamos fotos… asi que pues les dejo una foto de las flores que tambien le regale, pero tomada dias despues.

We went to Jasper (check next post) and when we came back, I invited Moni to dinner to a Japanese restaurant, where we ate sushi and a dish of something weird but japanese, and even that we didn’t know what it was, we ate it :D. Unfortunately we didn’t take pictures… then I post the picture of the flowers that I gave her, but taken some days after.

Ultimo dia en UofA / Last day in UofA

Me llene de ganas de dar una vuelta por la que fue mi universidad durante 6 meses y a la que hoy en dia le agradezco y debo muchas cosas. Un agradecimiento a los cuatro maestros que tuve con los que aprendi tantas cosas (y de pasada me dieron buenas calificaciones jaja).

I wanted to hang around in the place that was my university during these months and the one that I thank and owe many things. Special thanks to the four proffessors that I had and learnt so many things (and I got good grades).

Mi cumpleaños!!! / My birthdate!!!

  Bueno pues son 18 dias desde que no subo nada nuevo a mi blog, y se debe a que me la he pasado ocupado entre estudiar para mi ultimo examen, cumples, navidad, entre otros :D.

Mi casi cumpleaños / My almost birthdate

Pues un dia antes de mi cumpleaños, mi novia hermosa Monica, me invito a cenar a un restaurante (muy chingon por cierto) llamado Mario’s, en el cual pudimos disfrutar un poco de comida italiana. El unico inconveniente de la noche fue que el taxi tardo una hora y quince minutos en llegar por nosotros para llevarnos al restaurante, pero sin embargo, en compensacion nos dio un cupon para tener un descuento de 5 dolares en nuestro proximo taxi

One day before my birthdate, my beatiful girlfriend Monica, invited me to dinner to a restaurant (very nice by the way) calle Mario’s, where we could enjoy a little bit of italian cuisine. The only problem of the night was that the taxi lasted around one hour and a quarter for coming to pick us up, nonetheless, as a compensation the driver gave us a coupon for having a discount of 5 dollars on our next taxi trip

Mis mejores amigos en Canadá / My best friends in Canada

Bueno, pues en general y en resumen tengo tres buenos amigos aqui en Canadá.

Well, in general I have 3 very good friends in Canada.

El primero se llama Curtis James Ralph Auten y es mi compañero de ingeniería civil (En 3 de mis clases). El es originario de Red Deer, y tiene 23 años. Vive en un departamento muy chingon con su novia Heather, una chava muy buena onda. Generalmente no la pasamos estudiando o haciendo tarea en la escuela, pero lo considero un muy buen amigo. Ya nos hemos ido a pistear un par de veces. (pistear es tomar alcohol en México). Siempre esta de buen humor y pendejea conmigo.

The first one is Curtis James Ralph Auten that is my classmate in civil engineering (In 3 of my courses). He is from Red Deer and is 23 years old. Lives in a very nice apartament with Heather, his girlfriend, that is a very cool girl. Commonly we spend time studing or doing assingments at school, but I really think he is a very good friend. We have gone to drink a couple times. He is always in a good mood and say stupid things with me. (I mean, we laught all the time)

El segundo es Rogelio Tonatihu Rodriguez². El viene de la Universidad de Guadalajara tambien y estudia ingenieria en Computacion, por lo cual nos encontramos en el mismo centro. A el lo conoci en Mexico porque viajamos juntos a la ciudad de Mexico, para tramitar la visa canadiense. Es muy buen amigo y algo que le admiro es que siempre es muy positivo, y nunca dice que no. Su novia se llama Yolizma y casualmente fue mi compañera en primer semestre de mi carrera en un par de clases (ya que estudia ingenieria en computacion).

The second one is Rogelio Tonatihu Rodriguez². He comes from University of Guadalajara too, and studies computing engineering, so we are in the same campus. I met him in Mexico because we traveled to Mexico city to apply for the canadian visa. He is a very good friend and I admire his positivism, and never says no. His girlfriend is Yolizma and casually she was my classmate in first year of engineering in a couple of courses (she studies computer engineering).

El ultimo es Pivra Sapsuwan, que es mi compañero de casa. El es de Tailandia y estudia leyes en la Universidad de Alberta. Se la pasa comiendo cosas tailandesas (generalmente deliciosas, pero alguna vez me parecieron raras) y tambien es un poco indiscreto (si no preguntenle a Magda). Siempre es muy amable y gracioso.

En general me la paso muy bien pendejando en videos de youtube o haciendo vandalismo en wikipedia (jaja) con el.

The last one is Pivra Sapsuwan, that is my housemate. He is from Thailand and studies law in University of Alberta. He is always eating thailand weird things (generally delicious, but some day I thought they were weird jeje) and he is a little bit indiscreet (ask Magda). He is always very friendly and fun.

In the main, I have had very good times watching stupid videos at youtube or making vandalism in wikipedia (jaja) with him.

Una fiesta / A party

El primo de Monica cumplio 18 años y festejo con una fiesta muy al estilo playboy. Buena la fiesta pero termino en golpes, policia, entre otras cosas jaja.

 

Monica’s cousin turned 18 years old and celebrated with a playboy party. It was a good party but it finished with fights, police, and other stuff jaja.
